About Irene

Hello I am Irene, I have had animals since the age of 5 and am currently owned by two young cats. Previous cats lived to the age of 18 so it’s been an adventure having two young ones full of energy! I am used to animals of all sorts, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, horses and even rats. I had a friend who kept them as pets, so am not afraid! I am used to looking after my friends’ dogs when they need help, including a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a labrador and a terrier. I am a former teacher, used to being responsible and would treat both your animals and home with respect. I have a current and recent disclosure due to some voluntary work I do with vulnerable adults. I would care for your animals as if they were my own. Any day that brings me into contact with animals, is a day brightened up as far as I am concerned, I always try to say hello to a friendly dog or cat in the street – or a horse – I live near a stables!
