Home Boarding

  • Your dogs will have the company of our home boarders for most of the day as they are all either retired or they work from home.
  • Your dogs will have the freedom of the full house & garden to roam around in until their hearts are content and will get as many walks as they need.
  • Most of the dogs who stay with our home boarders have such a good time that they don’t want to go home!
  • Your dogs will be staying in a loving, family home and will be too busy having fun to even think about howling or barking because they are missing you.

Kennels

  • Your dogs would be left on their own in a kennel for most of the day apart from a couple of times a day when they are walked.
  • Your dogs would be confined in a much smaller space than they are used to, even if the room does have a flat screen tv!
  • Your dogs may develop separation anxiety issues especially if they are rescue dogs who have already spent a lot of their lives in a kennel or cage.
  • Your dogs may come back with hoarse throats because they have been barking & howling a lot, which is their way of calling their pack (ie. you & your family) back.
  • Many of our clients have used kennels in the past but have come to us because they have experienced a lot of the negatives we have listed first hand.

Melanie & Duncan

   (Macclesfield Home Dog Boarding)

I am a stay at home mother of two children, who loves animals (especially dogs) in a big way. My two kids are called Heidi, who is 7 and Tom who is 5. They are both very dog savvy and are used to dogs of all shapes and sizes so you don’t need to worry about your dogs playing too rough! We live in a large detached house in Macclesfield with a good sized, quirky garden, giving dogs plenty of space to go off on a mini adventure. I grew up with a large variety of dogs in my family. My parents had 4 Great Danes and a Labrador, and other close relatives had Jack Russels, Schnautzers, Dobermans and Rottweilers as well as rescue dogs from local animal shelters. I looked after dogs from a young age, including older ones, and some that needed special medical care. I live close to local parks, ideal for gentle walks, but also enjoy running, so your dog can get the most suited level of exercise. We are a very warm, welcoming family and your dog will feel right at home with us.

Look forward to meeting your lovely pooches!

Alison & David

(Sandbach Home Dog Boarding)

Alison & David live in a barn conversion near Sandbach on a beautiful country lane with their grown up son, Scott.

Alison’s work history is in sales in the industrial packaging sector. She was regional manager for a company in Co. Durham and provided some of the major companies in the North East with specialised packaging. She also ran and owned a small haulage business. Since moving to Cheshire 14 yrs ago she went into property renovations and currently works at home for her husband as company secretary.

They have lived in Cheshire for 14yrs and in that period have owned a Doberman and 4 cats. They are all massive animal lovers but haven’t wanted to commit to another pet as they have been travelling a lot over the past few years so they welcome giving love and attention to other peoples dogs.

Their home is very dog friendly with a large garden which is securely fenced. There are plenty of lovely areas surrounding them for long walks in the countryside so it is an ideal location for dogs with boundless energy and for lazy pooches alike!

They look forward to caring for all of your 4 legged friends soon! xx

Beverly & Ian

(Disley, Stockport Home Dog Boarding)

My name is Bev, I’m 55 and have had the pleasure of the company and companionship of animals, near enough all my life.

I live in a detached house in Disley with my husband Ian and my French rescue dog, Monty. It’s semi rural so I have the benefit of being able to take a short walk to transport and shops, but have green belt land at the back of my house. We have two large enclosed gardens, a dog secure paddock and two acres of woodland and three acres of field. The field joins up with a public foot path that eventually takes you to into Lyme park, perfect for long dog walks!

Both my daughters own dogs which I sometimes look after when they go on holiday, so I’m used to having a full house of up to six furry people at one time😀

Seventeen years ago I bred KC Dalmatians in my own home which was hard but I loved it and always kept in touch with how the dogs were getting on.

I lost my dog Eddie 😪 Last year, and I was devastated. No dog can ever replace him so that is why I decided to start boarding dogs so that I can enjoy the company of dogs without having the pain of losing them. I still have my French rescue dog Monty, who is 7 and loves other dogs.

Bev xx

They are within a stones throw of lots of lovely walks so your dog won’t be short of exercise! Emma only works part time during term time and George works from home so there is always somebody to keep the dogs company.  Emma has lots of experience with dogs either owning them or working with them and is familiar with a lot of different breeds. She currently owns a 13 year old rescue dog.  She has a lovely secure garden and there are plenty of walking opportunities in the area.

Martina & Phil

(Winsford Home Dog Boarding)

Martina & Phil live in Winford with their grown up son Craig. They live in a lovely 4 bedroom detached house with a large secure garden for the dogs to play in.

Martina works from home so your pet will always have lots of company, long walks and of course cuddles!

They have recently lost their own dog Carly who lived to the grand old age of sixteen and a half and although they aren’t ready to have another dog of their own, they miss the company of dogs so love looking after other peoples dogs as if they were their own.

They are just a short distance from The Whitegate Way and Delamere Forest so there are plenty of lovely walks to keep your four legged friends well entertained.

They look forward to meeting you all soon! xx

The extra value & care your dogs will receive from our Home Dog Boarding service outweighs the extra costs compared to a kennels 10 times over and is a small price to pay for your dogs’ happiness.Adam & Laura
