How many visits do you recommend?
We recommend a minimum of one visit a day for all pets, as they can get ill if they don’t eat or drink for 24 hours. For younger cats under one, very playful cats and cats who demand lots of attention we recommend two visits a day to ensure they get they don’t get too agitated or lonely. We also recommend two visits a day for older cats as they are more prone to health problems and depression when left by owners. Of course it is up to you how many times you want us to visit your pets but we stipulate a minimum of one visit per day for the safety and benefit of the pets.
What if my pet needs medication?
We can administer medication to your pet whilst you are away. We have many years of experiences of looking after animals, after having many different pets ourselves. Please ensure that you leave enough medicine for the entire duration of your holiday plus a bit extra in case you get held up.
What happens if my pet becomes unwell whilst i’m away?
In the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill whilst you are away, then we will contact you immediately, and seek veterinary advice if needed.
What happens if i’m delayed getting back?
No need to worry, we shall continue to visit your pet(s) until you have confirmed with us that you’ve arrived home safely.
How will you gain access to my property?
We will require a spare set of keys from you and we can then either post them through your door after the last visit, or keep them safe for next time. All keys will be locked in a secure filing unit at our home unless we are visiting your property.
What if I can’t afford for you to do two visits a day but i’m worried my pet may run out of food?
We can highly recommend pet feeders, these are devices that open up sections containing food at regular intervals, to ensure your pet has a regular food supply which we can fill during our visit so there’s no need to worry.
