OK so we aren’t all able to boast about bank balances that David and Victoria Beckham would be proud of but it doesn’t hurt to dream of luxury every now and again, does it? In fact, it was while we were on the hunt for dog friendly hotels that we came across a few of these – the most expensive and luxurious pet hotels in the world. Of course, as much as we wouldn’t pay these prices to send ourselves on vacation, it doesn’t hurt to take a sneaky peek in to the lives of rich pets and their secret luxury hideaways, does it?

Let’s take a look at the most luxurious and expensive pet hotels!

Paradise Ranch Pet Resort – Los Angeles

This is a completely cage-free doggy hotel that promises only the very best service for your pampered pooches. Providing a number of services such as grooming, doggy boarding, day cares, training, transportation, birthday parties and more, this is the creme de la creme of pet vacations and at almost $70 per night (about £46), your pet gets the real home-from-home experience.

Pooches are places with other pooches in order of size so you can be sure that your dog won’t get bombarded by other bigger dogs, and with a water park and various play areas over which they are rotated, they will never be short of activities to keep them amused.

Plus you can catch up with them almost any time of day or night by checking in with one of the 11 webcams they have to reassure you of their happiness!

Now that’s luxury and a half, don’t you think?

Jet Pet Resort – Vancouver

Starting at $30 per night (approx. £20), as well as a dog walking service, doggy boarding services and grooming services, you also have the option of checking your pampered pooch into the doggy day spa, giving them luxury and relaxation like nothing they have experience before.

Providing a five star service that includes only the healthiest dog foods and treats, plasma TV entertainment, no less than two outdoor doggy play areas, and even a doggy lounge, you might just find that your pet’s vacation will be more luxurious than your own!

Oh how the other half live, right? Would you entertain the idea of sending your pampered pooches to one of the most luxurious and expensive hotels in the world?
